Getting started

Dineos is for cafes, izakayas, restaurants, bars, and small food-service businesses that want to start QR ordering, reservations, and table operations without a complicated system.
Basic setup, including account creation, tables, and menu items, can be done in about 10 minutes. A more complete setup with photos, descriptions, and detailed options usually takes 1-2 hours.
Prepare your table numbers, menu names, prices, and optionally product photos and descriptions. Printed QR sheets, table stands, or menu inserts are prepared by the restaurant.
No. You can use the smartphones, tablets, and PCs your restaurant already has through a web browser. For day-to-day service, we recommend using an Android tablet because the screen is easier to monitor and notifications are easier to handle.
No. Open the dashboard in the browser, then use the share menu or browser menu and choose Add to Home Screen. It will open like an app from the home screen. For restaurant operations, we recommend adding it to the home screen on an Android tablet.
No. Customers scan the table QR code and order from their browser.

QR ordering and menu

Go to Dashboard > Tables > Add table. Dineos automatically creates a QR code for each table. You can download one QR image or one PDF containing all table QR codes.
Yes. Use Dashboard > Tables > Download all QR codes (PDF), then print the PDF for table cards, stands, menus, or other in-store materials.
Yes. Each table has a unique QR code, so staff can see which table placed each order.
Yes. After ordering, customers can view their order details and status. Staff status changes are reflected on the customer screen.
Yes. New orders appear in the admin in real time. Multiple staff devices can view the same order status.
Yes. Go to Dashboard > Orders and move each order through Pending, Preparing, and Served. In the table view, press Finish session after payment and cleanup to close out served orders for that table.
No. Dineos provides browser-based staff order entry for smartphones and tablets, so you do not need dedicated handheld terminals. It runs on Android and iPhone browsers.
Yes — both kinds. 1. Customer mobile ordering (QR self-ordering): guests scan a QR and order from their own phone. 2. Staff mobile ordering: staff enter tableside orders from smartphones or shared devices. You can mix both on the same table.
Yes. Staff order entry is included in Standard and Pro plans. Create per-staff accounts with 4-digit PINs and let them enter orders from smartphones or shared devices by table, item name, or item code. No need to buy dedicated handheld terminals.
There is no limit on the number of staff accounts on the Standard and Pro plans. Add as many as you need, including part-time staff.
Open Dashboard > Staff, edit the account, and set a new 4-digit PIN. Changing the PIN also signs the staff member out from every device they had used before.
Yes. Repeated wrong PIN attempts automatically lock the account: 15 minutes after 5 failures, 1 hour after 10, and 24 hours after 20. This blocks brute-force attempts. PINs are stored as hashes — never in plain text.
Yes. You can log in from multiple devices with the same staff name and PIN. Each device can enter orders independently, and every order is tagged with that staff name. This also works as a shared-account pattern when staff share a tablet.
Open Dashboard > Staff and deactivate the account. Access stops on the very next request. You can reactivate the account at any time to restore access.
Yes. Go to Dashboard > Menu > Edit item and mark the item as sold out. The customer menu display updates accordingly.
Yes. Go to Dashboard > Menu > Edit item > Option groups. You can create required or optional choices, including paid options.
The current setup is designed around Japanese and English. You can add English names and descriptions for restaurants and menu items.

Pricing and plans

Eligible accounts can use Dineos for the first 3 months at ¥0/month. Depending on the selected plan, you can try QR ordering, menu management, reservations, table status, analytics, and the dedicated restaurant page.
Lite includes up to 10 tables, a Dineos subdomain, QR ordering, menu and price management, reservations, table status management, analytics, and sales reports.
Standard includes everything in Lite, supports up to 24 tables, staff order entry, and custom domain setup. It is the recommended plan for restaurants that want a more branded restaurant page and staff-operated ordering.
After the launch offer period, you need to subscribe to Lite, Standard, or Pro to continue using the management app. Your existing restaurant data remains available when you subscribe.
Pro is for restaurants that do not want to worry about table limits. It includes everything in Standard and supports unlimited tables.
Yes. You can change plans as your restaurant needs change. Paid subscriptions are managed through Stripe's secure portal.

Reservations, analytics, and pages

You can create reservations, view them by date, manage party size, time, contact details, notes, and reservation statuses. Both online and manual reservations are supported.
Yes. Staff can manually add reservations received by phone or in person from the admin.
It lets staff view and update each table's state, such as available, occupied, reserved, cleaning, or out of service.
Analytics can show order counts, sales totals, average order value, popular items, order trends by time, customer analytics, reservation analytics, and QR order trends.
It is a page for your restaurant that can show store information, photos, menus, and reservation links. You can share it with customers using a dedicated URL.
Yes, on the Standard and Pro plans. The flow is: 1. You buy the domain from a registrar. 2. Register the domain in Dashboard > LP Settings. 3. Add the DNS records shown on screen at your registrar's control panel. 4. Once DNS is live, Dineos issues the SSL certificate and connects your restaurant page.
